OFFICAL RULES FOR 2012
A simple explanation of the "2 separate programs"
1. The "Fuel Card" is a program where anyone NOT interested in the Bonus Race can receive 5 gallons of their selected racing fuel FREE, each time they purchase 30 gallons of racing fuel from the Fuel Station at San Antonio Raceway. There is a "Fuel Card" available to help you keep track of your purchases, and will be punched out each time you purchase 5 gallons. There is nothing else to do, or buy, and the purchase cannot be counted toward the Bonus Race.
2. The "Bonus Race Card" is separate from the "Fuel Card". The "Bonus Race Card" program is for racers who want to compete in the November 2012 race sponsored by Alamo Hot Rod Parts. To qualify for the Bonus Race, YOU must notify the fuel station or Alamo Hot Rod Parts, you want to participate in the Bonus Race. You must purchase 100 gallons of racing fuel from the fuel station at San Antonio Raceway between January 1st, 2012 to the date of the race in November. The actual race date will be determined at a later time but WILL take place in November 2012.
If you do not purchase fuel from the fuel station at San Antonio Raceway, you may qualify for the "Bonus Race" by purchasing $1000 worth of parts ( before tax ) from Alamo Hot Rod Parts located at 4310 Center Gate in San Antonio (210) 656-7637. You may also combine the fuel and the parts to participate on the RACE CARD.
Example: if you purchase $700 in parts, and buy $300 in racing fuel from the fuel station that totals $1000, and you qualify for the race.
There is a " BONUS RACE CARD " seperate from the Fuel Card, and it will get punched out in $50.00 increments until it is all punched out and you have spent $1000 in either parts and fuel or fuel alone, or parts alone. There are no additional requirements. Alamo Hot Rod Parts is guaranteeing the purse wether there are 2 cars or 200 cars, and it will be run in November 2012.
If you are entering 2 separate cars, or 2 separate classes with one car, each car or class must participate in the program separately, this will require
2 separate "BONUS RACE CARDS".
Example: If you only have ONE "RACE CARD" punched out totaling $1000 you may enter only ONE CLASS AND ONE CAR. If you have 2 "RACE CARDS" punched out totaling $2000 you may enter 1 CAR IN 2 CLASSES or 2 CARS in ONE CLASS, or 2 CARS ( ONE IN SEPARATE CLASSES ) .
